USB Portable Hard Drive
Why take only a file or two with you when you can take along an entire hard drive?

Wireless Networks Signal Booster

A complaint of many home wireless networks is poor signal strength and dead spots.  Tom's Hardware Page reviews the LinkSys Wireless Signal Booster (WSB24). It is some help but doesn't seem to significantly boost range. Good for those problems spots though.

1.

Deleting Unwanted Programs.
We get quite a few questions about how to properly remove / uninstall programs. Simply deleting the folder containing the program is NOT the best choice. Programs installed in Windows often make modifications to system files, the registry and have other files in other locations. .

Saving pictures from web pages.
Ever been at a web site and seen a picture you like and want to save. It's easy - just right-click the image and select Save Picture As... from the menu that pops up.

If you really like the picture, you can even set it as your wallpaper from that same menu. Just make sure the image is big enough. If it's too small, it won't will probably look really pixelated when blown up to full screen size.

Personalizing the Windows Color Scheme.
The default Windows color scheme is great if gray is your favorite color. If it's not, you don't have to stick with it. Change your color scheme to something that fits your personality.
