Tell a Friend

By default, both MS Word and WordPerfect save your files to the My Documents folder.

But what if you don't want your stuff saved there by default?

Well, that's easy to fix. Here's how:

In MS Word:
Hit the Tools menu, Options. Click the File locations tab. Double click the Documents entry and set your new location.

In WordPerfect:
Hit the Tools menu, Settings. Click the Files button and a tabbed screen will pop up. Make sure you're on the Document tab and click the Default document folder button (next to the current location). Set in your new location and you're done.
